Statistics Android moves closer to Apple’s iOS

As of the latest “Global smartphone Report” Made by Nielsen, RIM and Apple is currently struggling for dominance in the U.S. smartphone market. The two contracting parties have moved closer in the third quarter of 2010.

Market researchers have interviewed a total of 13243 smartphone owners and found that 28 percent rely on Apple’s IOS. RIM has suffered significant losses with its BlackberryOS and now stands at 30 percent. Should this development continue, Apple will have taken at the end of the top position on the U.S. smartphone market. Read more
